The trunk moves to give room for the arms to swing down to the left. Most of the speed comes from the lever of the arm & lever of the golf club. Speed comes from leverage & distance comes from speed. Kinetic energy = 1/2 x mass x velocity x velocity (K.E.=1/2 x m x v 2). Velocity is more important & velocity comes from leverage.

Actually its because he uses his whole body to rotate through the shot, creating tons of lag, plus he hits it on the sweet spot so often, because he wouldn’t shape shots like he does if he mis-hit them alot.
